On February 7, 2024, Mr. Pavle Basic of The National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, and Mr. Ivan Jankovic, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Mining and Energy, visited the production bases of Shanghai FengLing Renewables.
After signing the Memorandum of Understanding with the Serbian government for investments in renewable energy sources (RES), the Serbian delegation first toured the production bases of Shanghai FengLing Renewables in Lianshui City, Jiangsu Province, where they viewed the world's first 180-meter ultra-high concrete tower project made of UHPC150 material. Mr. Pavle Basic and Mr. Ivan Jankovic expressed high appreciation for the company's achievements in renewable energy and emphasized that implementing this project will inject new impetus into Serbia's energy structure transformation, contributing significantly to the promotion of Serbia's energy industry and sustainable development.
This cooperation represents a deep collaboration between China and Serbia in the energy sector. Its success will not only advance China's advanced technologies and talent in the field of new energy to the international market but also contribute to Serbia's goal of achieving "zero carbon emissions" by 2050. Furthermore, it will usher in a new era of energy cooperation between China and Serbia.
